A solid history of defining the Filipino soul has been depicted through art and is now being supported by the country’s leading events insurer.
Pioneer Insurance adds to its roster of covered art exhibits the Amorsolo Retrospective: His Art, Our, Heart, a showcase of National Artist Fernando Amorsolo’s finest works of art.
Driven towards enhancing and revolutionizing the industry for more than half a century, Pioneer, through insurance, strongly supports efforts geared towards building and reliving Filipino culture, making its services more relevant and valuable not just for individuals but for the whole community.
Pioneer is providing exhibition insurance for over 130 paintings of the four-month multi-venue exhibition of Amorsolo’s depiction of fervent idealism, a sense of community, the respect of women, the love of beauty, the dignity of hard work, and a celebration of our country’s history.
Since its launch last year, the rare collection of Amorsolo’s paintings insured by Pioneer are spread through the National Museum, GSIS Museum, Metropolitan Museum and Ayala Museum. The retrospective can also be seen at the Vargas Museum, Yuchengco Museum, and Lopez Museum. Through the Amorsolo Retrospective, its organizers and supporters, including Pioneer, hope to affect the present generation with the vibrant history of Filipino culture as depicted by one of the country’s greatest artists.
