Pioneer Receives Micro Award

The Insurance Commission recently cited Pioneer for its contributions to microinsurance.

In the recent Gabi ng Parangal at Pasasalamat sa mga Tagapagtaguyod ng Microinsurance hosted by the Insurance Commission last January 31, 2012, 5 life and 3 non-life insurance companies were cited for having not only approved microinsurance products but actual issued policies. Pioneer Life and Pioneer Insurance were both recognized. To date, close to half a million Filipinos are covered by Pioneer’s microinsurance programs.

Pioneer Life President & CEO Lorenzo Chan was on hand to receive the award for both companies.
